Every day, thousands of youth aged 15-29 are dying on the world's roads. This has to stop. We are experts in youth and road safety issues and advocate for sustainable mobility at the highest levels of decision-making. We believe in meaningful youth participation as a key strategy to change these statistics.

With strategic global advocacy, capacity development, and empowering youth locally, we will unlock a global revolution for road safety and make this generation the last one facing this massive public health threat. Communications Manager is an exciting role within the leading global organization on youth and road safety issues. We need you to be proactive, organized, self-managing, and self-starter, ready to lead our global communications with the highest and most creative standards. Our impact YOURS has three pillars of activities: advocating, inspiring - connecting & uniting, and capacity development. 1) The first pillar advocating is to provide one voice for youth on road safety issues at a global level to increase awareness of youth road safety in the world as a global issue and to increase participation of youth in road safety.

2) The second pillar inspiring - connecting & uniting, is to inspire and connect young people and youth-led NGOs active in the road safety field around the world, so they can work together, easily share information and experiences, and become united at a global level. 3) The third pillar is capacity development. Not just to turn young people into road safety advocates, but also to equip them with project management, communication, and advocacy skills, to organize effective road safety campaigns in their countries and raise awareness for the vulnerable position of young people in traffic. YOURS plays a vital role in preventing road traffic injuries among young people.

It is a unique organization that unites and supports youth leaders worldwide to demand and deliver road safety. YOURS is recognized as a leader in assisting government investment in youth leadership in the road safety field. We add value to the broader development agenda by contributing to a healthier planet, liveable cities, gender equality, safe school zones, and equal access to safe and sustainable mobility. Purpose of the Position The Sr. Communications Manager oversees the creation, development, and timely implementation of the organizational and all project communications, following the YOURS Communications Strategy.

In collaboration with the team, the Sr. Communications Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring communications align with the YOURS strategic plan and advocacy messages.
