Wh - Aviation Specialist Advisor

**BlueForce, Inc. **is seeking for **Aviation Specialist Advisors **to provide services in support of upcoming task orders located in Central America and other Western Hemisphere countries such as **Panama City, Panama.**

**General Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with stakeholders to analyze the content of the aviation maintenance contract’s support to local governments and determine their needs, including operational readiness rates, parts availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and non-mission capable rates (due to supply shortages and maintenance scheduling). Measure the logistics integration work plan, labor schedules, site-specific considerations, work requirements, milestones/timelines, and operational activities in support of the aviation program.
- Responsible to help facilitate the flow of accurate and timely information among stakeholders, the Program Offices, and other Embassy and National stakeholders.
- Coordinate with program/project officers and designated contractor representatives on all technical matters that arise in the discussions on the development of the aviation contract.
- Provides clarifications with regard to potential impact of integration on technical requirements, including inspections, testing, inventories and acceptance procedures for training, infrastructure and logistics processes.
- Prepare progress reports, updates plans, and schedules as needed.
- Recommends approval, when required, for deviations from approved plans, schedules, and scopes of work, and based on the status and progress of all parties involved.
- Help identify and recommends solutions or corrective action to resolve any issues that interfere with the aviation program. In those cases where problems cannot be resolved within the incumbent’s scope of authority, the incumbent is required to make recommendations to management on appropriate corrective actions.
- The work requires an above average resistance to fatigue and physical hardships.
- Local and international travel may be required.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
**Specialist Advisor IV**:

- MRPT certification or RSO clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or related field; or (15) years or related professional experience.
- FSI level 3/3 Spanish, FSI level 3/3 English (for Belize English only required).
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in the field of the specialty, which must include:

- Three (3) years of experience working overseas in an Embassy environment, or
- Three (3) years of specialized supervisory experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs);
- Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
