The Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist is responsible for assisting clients by providing valuable information, addressing inquiries, and managing complaints. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products, services, and features. This position involves maintaining exceptional service standards for both internal and external customers, managing a portfolio of house accounts.Your Responsibilities
- Input and finalize shipment details in our internal data management system (including Carrier/Vessel, Item description, etc.)
- Collaborate with customer care teams, haulers, and carriers
- Prepare files for consolidation containers (Master/Single)
- Review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions, clarifying any deviations or conflicts while considering country regulations, compliance, and rate and routing information
- Maximize profitability
- Promptly report issues, operational disputes, or discrepancies to your supervisor
- Monitor the operational performance of carriers and vendors, escalating issues if commitments are not met, and addressing any rate discrepancies
- Assist the Customer Care team with account implementation, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to operations
- Support the Customer Care team in resolving customer complaints
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in export operations
- Familiarity with freight forwarding processes
- Proficient in English
