Responsibilities -Informatica architecture and technical support, Informatica ETL development and troubleshooting, Azure data engineering (which includes working with Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Factory), dimensional modeling, SQL and PL/SQL development, Oracle performance tuning, and BI development support. -Involvement in all phases of data warehouse implementation, including requirements gathering, design, and testing. -Design and develop ETL using Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter 10.4 and above, IICS & Azure. -Create and maintain tables, create views, write queries, build PL/SQL packages, write stored procedures, triggers, and functions, and design and develop complex ETL processes.
- Read and interpret physical data models, primarily dimensional models. -Use Informatica PowerCenter 10.4 and above, IICS (Informatica Intelligence Cloud Services), Oracle 12c, PL/SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Erwin 2020 R2 SP2 to accomplish project deliverables and to provide data solutions for the business areas we support. -Hands-on development (estimated 75%) and data architecture-related work (estimated 25%). Specific Duties: 1.DW/BI projects and initiatives, including business analysis, independent technical design, and development.
2.Informatica architecture and troubleshooting support. 3.Provide Informatica expertise where needed. 4.Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting. 5.Data architecture duties, including OLAP and OLTP data modeling.
6.Intensive data analysis on source system databases. Analysis of source system databases, identification of required data, and data profiling. 7.Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, and choose the appropriate solution to fix data-related issues. 8.Support the BI development team in building data visualization, reporting, and dashboards, specifically on the data side of that development.
9.Implement data-related processes, functionality, and structures including data ingestion pipelines, cleansing, and transformation activities, and data stores for analytical workload in Azure. Skills and Experience 1.Required: 10+ years of IT experience. 2.Required: 7+ years of data warehouse development with 1 year or more of team lead experience. 3.Required: 5+ years of data integration and ETL development experience with Informatica Power Center.
**4.Required**: 7+ years of Oracle development experience that includes writing complex SQL and PL/SQL, and doing performance tuning. 5.Required: 1+ years of data modeling experience with at least 6 months of doing dimensional modeling. 6.Required: 3+ years: Data analysis and requirements gathering and testing. 7.Required: Strong oral and written communication skills.
**8.Desired**: 2+ years of Azure data development/engineering experience. 9.Desired: 3+ years of MS SQL Server and/or DB2 experience. 10.Desired: 6+ months of IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) experience. 11.Desired: 6+ months of experience using Erwin data modeling tool.
