**BASIC FUNCTION**:
Unloading incoming shipments, logging shipments and receivables into the database, issuing (tracking) test number and deliver to appropriate work centers, updates M2K system, create sales/work orders, and moving of items between work locations. Ensures that all incoming artifacts are correctly counted, entered, and transferred to the appropriate areas in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR TASKS:

- Unloads incoming freight and delivers freight to holding area in the receiving designated area. Completes data entry for incoming transactions.
- Reviews incoming paperwork with detailed information for work to be performed. Troubleshoot sales orders which have order entry mistakes, inventory, discrepancies and electronic processing problems.
- Ability to read, understand, and decipher POs and customer requests; attention to detail is essential
- Performs daily shipping. Ensures that performed cycle counts are correct. Computes freight quotes.
- Perform local and area pick-up and delivery of purchased parts, materials, and customer artifacts as requested by Purchasing and approved by the Logistics Analyst.
- Review inventory to ensure correct HTS and ECCN classification.
- Assist in import and export paperwork when is required
- Review and assist with the purchasing of material necessary for the operation.
- Support Corporate tax and accounting.

Other Job Functions:
Search out and participate, when approved, in further education, seminars, independent reading to develop skill.
Other functions as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands and working conditions:

- Lifting and carrying packages in accordance with the Safety tools and rules.
- Pushing boxes, carts, or pallet jacks
- Continuous fine finger movements while working on the computer
- Continuously standing and walking
- Frequently handling tools and packages
- Frequent 1-foot action while operating the forklift
- Occasionally lifting and carrying packages up to 35 kilos (team lift is encouraged)
- Occasionally reaching above and below the shoulder
- Occasionally sitting, climbing, bending/stooping, twisting or crouching
- Work environment in inside a warehouse or office. Environment is in climate-controlled and work is completed independently but as a team.
- Personal protective equipment required for this position includes: safety shoes (continuous), safety glasses and gloves.
- Some local deliveries and pick-ups.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PREREQUISITES:

- College or Technical School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack preferred
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Good reading and number recognition skills
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Good computer skills including strong 10-key skill
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Basic math and tape measure reading skills
- Good problem solving/spatial reasoning skills
- Knowledge of assigning Harmonized System classification codes based on General Rules of Interpretation.
- Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Advanced negotiating skills required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Bi-lingual verbal and written in Spanish and English required (Portuguese a plus).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s (preferred)

Import/Export: 3 years (preferred)
Computer: 5 Years (preferred)
Inventory: 3 years (preferred)

Pay: B/.1,000.00 - B/.1,500.00 per month
