Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

adidas Senior Managers are responsible for driving the execution of our strategy. Their role requires them to focus on operational delivery and translate strategic direction into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The Senior Manager Inventory DP LAM should lead Omni-Channel inventory management to support business decision making and enable cross-channels product movement. Drive inventory optimization by leading or being involved in different cross-functional initiatives. Manage Inventory related KPIs: IDL, stock turn, months cover etc.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Execution:

- Simulate on a regular or ad-hoc basis demand & supply and inventory scenarios with a holistic view of Omi channel KPI targets and demand and supply integration. Facilitate decision making by providing clear fact base insights.
- Lead monthly inventory forecast to review the status-quo and disclose risks or opportunities to ensure target achievements. Drive cross-LAM and cross-functional alignment, and actions well executed.
- Explore current inventory reporting lens and relevant issues (internal and ecosystem/marketplace).
- Work with the countries/channels to improve the inventory balance to reduce sales and margin risks and capture opportunities.
- Work on overall inventory reduction and cross-channel inventory optimization by driving or co-leading different cross-functional initiatives.
- Work closely with the Demand Planning Country teams in relation to stock sharing.
- Drive/Facilitate stock sharing and inventory allocations.

Systems and Processes:

- Co
- Lead system enhancement with DP Reporting and Tools, IT and Data analytics to improve inventory ‘s visibility across channels and reporting’s automation.
- Establish Omni-channel inventory management process to provide a holistic view of targets, demand, and supply.
- Set up quick -reactive inventory management process from planning to execution.

Financial:

- Ensure the accuracy of inventory fact base.
- Gatekeeping in Inventory forecast submission tying with RFC (Rolling Forecast) and Budget.
- Master the know-how of process & methodology of inventory target setting and RFC.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Broad & deep knowledge in inventory management and planning, combining theoretical and practical expertise.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communicate effectively and manage collaborative relationship with cross functional team, ability to influence key stakeholders.
- High data analytical and problem-solving skill, ability to identify critical issues, make recommendations and solve complicated issues in collaboration with cross functional team.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions and stakeholders.
- Result orientated, act with courage, and demonstrate positive attitude.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent education required.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in DP / Finance / Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in inventory management and planning, with high degree of business acumen knowledge to challenge and drive inventory optimization.
- Experience in the sports or footwear/apparel industry is a plus.
