The Sr. Communications Manager is an exciting role within the leading global organization on youth and road safety issues. We need you to be proactive, organized, self-managing, and self-starter, ready to lead our global communications with the highest and most creative standards. Our impact YOURS has three pillars of activities: advocating, inspiring - connecting & uniting, and capacity development. 1) The first pillar advocating is to provide one voice for youth on road safety issues at a global level to increase awareness of youth road safety in the world as a global issue and to increase participation of youth in road safety. 2) The second pillar inspiring - connecting & uniting, is to inspire and connect young people and youth-led NGOs active in the road safety field around the world, so they can work together, easily share information and experiences, and become united at a global level. 3) The third pillar is capacity development. Not just to turn young people into road safety advocates, but also to equip them with project management, communication, and advocacy skills, to organize effective road safety campaigns in their countries and raise awareness for the vulnerable position of young people in traffic. Purpose of the Position The Sr. Communications Manager oversees the creation, development, and timely implementation of the organizational and all project communications, following the YOURS Communications Strategy. In collaboration with the team, the Sr. Communications Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring communications align with the YOURS strategic plan and advocacy messages.
