Identity & Access Management Engineer (Azure Ad)

**Role Overview**
Own the design, operation, and continuous improvement of the Identity & Access Management platform based on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune. Enable SSO/MFA/Conditional Access, automate the Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle, and ensure compliance (ISO 27001, NIST) across multiple jurisdictions (UK/Barbados/MX/CO/PA).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and operate IAM on Entra: SSO (SAML/OIDC), MFA, Conditional Access, and passwordless.
- Automate JML with HR/ticketing integration, M365 licensing, and dynamic groups.
- Implement and administer PAM (Entra PIM): JIT/JEA, break-glass accounts, alerts, and evidence.
- Integrate access with VPN/Firewall, legacy apps (LDAP/RADIUS/Kerberos), M365, and Intune/MDM.
- Run access governance: SoD, periodic recertifications, and reviews of critical roles/data.
- Produce audit-ready evidence and reporting (logs, MFA/SSO coverage, PIM, SoD).
- Harden identity security: risk-based policies, detection, and response.
- Document standards/patterns (RBAC/ABAC), runbooks, and KB; enable Service Desk.
- Track and improve KPIs (time-to-provision, MFA coverage, % apps under SSO).
**Skills & Qualifications**
**Essential**
- 4-7+ years in IAM with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, M365, and Conditional Access/MFA.
- Hands-on SSO experience (SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth2): claims, certificates, app lifecycle.
- Practical PAM knowledge (ideally Entra PIM) and JIT/JEA controls.
- Automation with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph; basic KQL/Log Analytics.
- Integration with VPN/Firewall and legacy directories/protocols (LDAP/RADIUS/Kerberos).
- Experience running recertifications, SoD, and producing reports for ISO 27001/NIST/SOX.
- Solid grasp of Zero Trust and RBAC/ABAC models.
- Professional English (written and spoken).
**Desirable (Nice to have)**
- Entra ID Protection, Defender for Identity/Cloud Apps, risk-based CA, device-compliance signals.
- Exposure to Safetica DLP alongside Microsoft Purview; identity/device-centric ESET policies.
- Certifications : SC-300, SC-100, AZ-104, CISM/CISA.
- Multi-jurisdiction experience and, if relevant, Solvency II (financial/reinsurance sector).
- IAM as Code (Bicep/Terraform azurerm-aad) and CI/CD for configuration.
