Advisor, Information Security Governance

What you'll achieve

  • Assist in conducting information security governance reviews and doing postreview work for Information Lifecycle Governance (identification, classification, protection, retention and disposition) for structured and unstructured environments
  • Work with team members and program stakeholders to support strategic and operational initiatives
  • Support the review, update and maintenance of program documentation processes/procedures
  • Assist with the development of program metrics (KPIs) and reporting tools that can be used to measure effectiveness and efficiency of processes or systems
  • Support the collection and analysis of data as determined by the needs of the business to drive process enhancements and improve user education/training

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of common regulatory controls, such as: NIST SP 80053, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001 etc.
  • Familiarity with information lifecycle management and information security concepts
  • Highly motivated, selfstarting individual, and able to multitask and manage to timelines
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills along with strong oral, written, and communication/presentation skills to a broad range of employees
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel), SharePoint and Teams.
Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Assurance or a related field and/or a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a security or related environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly

  • Team members who live more than a onehour commute from a major Dell site location will be considered remote but may have the option to work hybrid should they choose to, with their leader's approval
