The role is the regional lead for contributions to the global MPL product strategy, is responsible for executing the product's regional business plan in line with the global product strategy and regional L&S priorities and is accountable for the product's P&L in the assigned region.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a Regional plan for MPL in line with the Global strategyDevelop and execute a regional strategy for the MPL product family aligned with global product priorities, product strategy/roadmaps & growth ambitionsDrive the regional MPL go-to-market strategy across all applicable functions (operations, growth enablement, procurement, QHSE) and processes (Lead to Agreement, Order to Cash, Service Delivery, Procure to Pay)Establish and monitor a regional product budget and business plan to support regional L&S prioritiesEnsure alignment and unity of effort across all product functionsEstablish relationships and ways of working with other regional product heads & sales leaders to maximize the 'managed by' value proposition of MPL as a solutions-based product.

Drive MPL growthCollaborate closely with the global MPL community and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure effective market entry and/or market penetration for the MPL product into key market segments.

Oversee the regional MPL growth strategy and pipeline, and provide necessary pipeline qualification, opportunity validation andother productsupport to the sales organization through the Lead to Agreement processGuide and personally support strategic pursuits to maximize productwin rate, including attending key client meetings.

Lead local product development and maturity planning efforts to meet specific prioritized customer needs.
Support the development of sales capabilities in the region by providing product training, value proposition coaching etc.
Build and maintaina high-performing teamAttract, develop, deploy and retain a diverse team with industry-leading operational expertise, knowledge & practical experience acrossall key market segments relevant to the MPL product familyDeliberately evolve the regional MPL team structure & composition over time to remain ahead of customer needs & market trendsBe an active participant within the Global MPL CommunityCapture and share knowledge / best practices throughout the organization as part of the product Continuous Improvement programWhat We are looking forRegional knowledge + global mindsetExtensive Supply Chain and logistics network knowledgeExperience with harnessing Digital / IT Platforms to support project logisticsExpertise within key market segmentsMature stakeholder management skills, collaborative approach to challengesStrong understanding of commercial solution sales process within MaerskExperienced in the leadership of large teams including virtual leadershipCommercial savviness and collaboration across functionsHigh School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in field highly preferred.
10+ years working in Supply Chain-related logistics in increasingly responsible rolesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent English communication (oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills.
