About the Role:
We, in Diageo, are driving a major re-invention in Intelligent & Integrated Business Planning.

The i-IBP is future fit change, with building blocks in digital, people & culture, processes, which we will drive through a Transformation Office.


The Regional Capability and Training is responsible for the complete codification of Demand Planning process, define regional standards and develop best practice to ensure valuable input into IBP and Demand process.

This role will also be in charge to create and maintain codified demand planning and IBP documents and training materials for different levels of stakeholders.


She/he will play a key role in connecting will all the critical stakeholders, at all levels, within the region, and globally.


Top Accountabilities:

  • Owns the adherence to the Global Demand Planning codification of LAC Demand Planning process segmented by data maturity, including Innovation & Brand Change Planning and business partnering with the markets.
  • Leads performance improvement in partnership with the markets and intervene for step change improvement where needed.
  • Leads monthly governance process that tracks progress.
  • Leads the improvement roadmap, ensure advanced process maturity including capability and systems development.
  • Implements consistent, codified RASCII in Demand Planning functions to unlock optimal performance.
  • Embeds codified building blocks (activity forecasting) through commercial planning process in collaboration with Global/Regional teams.
  • Defines LAC Innovation planning process in partnership with regional Brand Change and markets Supply Teams
  • Identifies development opportunities for owned processes, through constant benchmark with CPG companies and Supply Chain advisors, to identify leading practices.
  • Develops and sustain Demand Planning capability for the region, providing training to the DP key Users and Demand Planner in the region which is aligned to the defined Global training framework.
  • Maintain codified Demand Planning documents and training materials in alignment with the Global Demand Planning Process Owner.
  • Training of market interdisciplinary departments regarding the IBP process, ways of working and continuous learning.

About you:

  • Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, mathematical, engineering, or business degree. APICS CPIM / CSCP or equivalent desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands on demand Planning experience in FMCG, TBA, or e-commerce.-
  • Strong IBP foundation following Oliver Wight's process standards with strong cross-functional collaboration.-
  • Demonstrated success in Supply Chain, including demand and supply balancing, inventory management, capacity management, etc.-
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully having led complex transformation projects.-
  • Strong understanding of business process optimization, performance measurement, and change management principles.-
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, enabling data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.-
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.-
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish required. Portuguese would be a plus.

Desirable Previous Experience:
- +7 years in Supply Chain planning experience in CPG (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, SMR, Logistics), including extensive experience in Demand Planning and S&OP.
