**Position Summary**

As the Nestlé Cocoa Plan Latam and **Corporate Cocoa Lead**, your role will involve driving the Nestlé Cocoa Plan (NCP) roll out in LATAM, providing functional leadership to Nestlé Cocoa Plan Agri services teams, and provide corporate support globally on regenerative agriculture in cocoa. Additionally, you will act as the link between Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Procurement, and Sustainable Agricultural Department (CO-SAD) to ensure full alignment between global NCP ambitions and local Latam implementation.

**A Day in the Life of the Nestlé Cocoa Plan Latam and Corporate Cocoa Lead**
- Drive NCP roll out: Ensure NCP implementation in all markets as per SBU roadmap, collaborating with suppliers and local sourcing teams
- Manage NCP verification process with CO-SAD team to ensure compliance and adherence to standards
- Support locally sourced markets: Convene markets to foster collaboration and implement corporate tools
- Manage relationship with Rainforest Alliance for monitoring and evaluation, streamlining processes for efficiency
- Coordinate human rights plans in NCP markets with the ESG team
- Drive regenerative agriculture agenda in cocoa: Develop and fine-tune concepts, create roadmaps, and oversee deployment and reporting at the market level, exploring alternative solutions and continuously improving the Monitoring, reporting and Verification (MRV) tools
- Engage with R&D and Nestlé Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NIAS) : Collaborate with R&D teams on deliverables related to regenerative impact, carbon reduction, and removal, providing expertise on specific topics and integrating carbon measurement into cocoa supply chain processes
- Staff and develop a high-performing agronomist team to interface with Factories, Business, Strategic Buyers, and suppliers. Create an NCP community in the Zone to nourish governance and operation meetings

**What will make you successful**
- Demonstrated success in setting direction and delivering competitive advantage to the business over a sustained period
- Solid knowledge of cocoa growing and tropical agronomy
- Strong understanding of MRV and external certification schemes
- Ability to successfully lead large scale and multi-country projects and deliver competitive advantage to the business
- Experience in successfully leading field agronomist teams and managing an agriculture sourcing operation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convince others, achieve consensus, and perform under pressure
- Cross-cultural empathy and the ability to lead virtual teams
- Availability to travel regularly within the Latam
- Language proficiency in English, and Spanish or Portuguese
