**Main Purpose**: Duties include understanding databases, analyzing data and responsible for creating and maintaining data models utilizing Microsoft Azure and Tableau to generate actionable insights and visualizations to support decisions making for our retail business line. Also, role contribution can help analysts and managers improve business, extracting useful data from various and different databases, developing and maintaining data models, and performing or leading data modeling and visualization techniques.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Understand databases and analyze dataDesign and implement data models that accurately reflect business processes and support analytical requirements.Create and maintain a variety of dashboards and reports to support ongoing analysis for decision making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.Identify data that could be valuable to the business and plan its extractionExtract and transform dataStay current with emerging technologies and methodologies related to data analytics.Extract and transform data using ETL’s toolsResearch automation processes and leverage automation to allow focus on high-impact activitiesPropose data base improvements or solution such as data base links, views and queriesDevelop data modelsUtilize Microsoft Azure and Tableau to collect, process, and analyze large amounts of data.Develop and maintain data models in order to give visibility to the business and a quick response to new inquiries or requests from both IT and the businessDevelop dashboardsMaintain developed reports, ensure they are updated and verify the results shown in them in order to generate credibility.Propose enhancements to the existing dashboardsDesign and implement KPI’s & SLA reportsLead dashboards developments for Retail business.Develop new dashboards for Retail businessTo be the link between the business and DA TeamWork with stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs and develop appropriate solutions.Lead presentation, discovery and board presentation meetings with the businessUnderstand the business requirements and be able to convey the needs to the IT TeamProvide training and support to business users as needed.Calculate workload demand to manage business expectations.Be able to manage demand from business and creates synergy with global Data Analytic team in order to manage the DA Architecture for regional purposes.Requirements: Speak Spanish and English fluentlyCapable of managing multiple initiativesAvailable for possible relocationExperience: 4+ years of experience in analytics/data science/insights/strategyBachelor’s degree ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics or finance)3+ years of experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, MS Azure, ETL’s, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Data Studio, or similar technologies)Experience integrating different IT systemsMulticultural environment experienceProven ability to translate business requirements into IT solutionsKnowledge of Energy industry and Convenience Retail businesses and key processesSkills: Good stakeholder management experience and comfortable presenting to senior leadershipCommunication, analytical and organizational skillsInterpersonal skills and team working also virtuallyAbility to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate resourcesCompetencies: Strongly organized and structuredImportant to be able to work with the business users at all level of the organizationAble to prioritize workCreative, innovative and autonomousStrong team playerStakeholder management skillsKey Relationships and Department Overview: Internal - Regional Retail Business Manager, in-country Retail Business Managers, Convenience Retail Leads, Loyalty Managers, Regional IT Management, Global Data Analytic Team.External - Data visualization developers, Retail Information Systems owners and manufacturers.
