JOB FOCUS

The purpose of the role is to provide Best Class patient and customer service across the Pfizer Supply chain. They will be the single customer point of contact, creating a seamless experience, and they will be responsible for the shipment management according to the customer's priorities.

They will play a key role in monitoring, controlling, executing, facilitating interactions and decisions across functions and partners to optimize the "E2E" (end to end) delivery, return, and incident process.

The role acts as a specialist resource within Global Logistics & Network Services and uses extensive knowledge and experience to support the operations and provide input recommendations for improvements.

JOB SUMMARY - MAIN AREA’S OF RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

1. Ensure timeliness and Supply of Pfizer Innovative products
- “Make things happen”
- Monitors, control, execute and facilitate interactions and decision across functions and partners to optimize the e2e delivery, return, and incident process giving the best experience to our customer.

Orchestrate
- Execute the required system processes to ensure the delivery of the right product in the right quantity and in the right condition.
- Monitor regular controls to avoid any over-dues in the shipment processing from internal and external parties (e.g.: HCL India or equivalent), according to procedure and ensure a smarter and faster delivery system.
- Route different scenarios according to the required Standard protocol, including exceptions, returns within the agreed-lead times, and in line with the procedure.

2. Shipment Logistics management
- Collaborate with third-party service providers for shipment handling according to customer priorities, within agreed lead times, and for the activities assigned.

- Ensure full documentation towards all stakeholders is accurate and available on time (based on compliance and customer requirements).
- Ensure all related master data (e.g. customer profiles) is up to date in the system, according to compliance and changing customer needs.
- Execute filing and e-archiving according to the relevant procedures.
- Handle returns and corrections within agreed lead times and per procedure.
- Ensure incidents and Events are complete and timely managed in line with the relevant procedures.
- Monitor daily & weekly controls to avoid any over-dues in shipment handling.

3. Communication
- Demonstrate strong presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to understand and influence stakeholders.
- Act as the focal point of contact towards assigned stakeholders for all service-related questions for assigned responsibilities.
- Provide appropriate feedback to stakeholders in terms of delivery lead times and proactive communication in case of delays.
- Handle complaints in due time.

4. Finance
- Comply with all SOPs and Work Instructions in line with the O2C SOX procedures.
- Support Audit by providing information/documentation: on time and in full with no discrepancies.
- Support the Financial accounting closing period activities as per the procedure.
- Resolve all financial issues and corrections in close connection with the Finance teams, local market teams, and according to procedures.

5. Continuous Improvements
- Initiate, implement and support initiatives to improve the customer experience.
- Drive and support Operational Excellence initiatives to improve efficiencies and remove non-added value activities.
- Support and propose strategic and cost-saving initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Flow Owner /Specialist (base level)
- Coordination and stakeholder management related to all operational and process improvement matters for the assigned Flow(s) or Specialist area.
- Act as a specialist resource within the Logistics Center organization for the assigned Flow(s) or Specialist area.
- Ensures SOP, WI, Job aids, and RACI are maintained and updated according to procedures.
- Challenge and maintain the best-known way of operation for assigned Flow(s) or Specialist areas.

2. Flow Owner / Specialist

(advanced level)
- Drive and lead actions and projects impacting the operational processes within and beyond the assigned flow or specialist area.
- Take full accountability and responsibility for the deliverables and results of the IO LC organizations.
- Be the voice of the process and explain the process to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Take a holistic view; think beyond the job role boundaries and include and engage others to do the same by leading by example.
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at varying levels, both internally and externally.
- Manage relationships both internally and externally by speaking up and leading the conversations.
- Lead the change management to be one step ahead and contribute to a future-proof organization.
