The Programme is designed to promote sustainable integrated landscapes and efficient food value chains at scale, by encouraging transformation to more environmentally sustainable production practices and more resilient landscapes. The FACS team also works in close collaboration with various governments, including the Government of Sweden and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO). The UNDP FACS Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team plays a key role in the delivery of the UNDP FACS strategy, through: Developing innovative, system-informed and participatory MEL frameworks and tools (i.e., the Signals of Change Framework, and the ), and promoting and supporting their adoption in the context of relevant projects, programmes and portfolios; Providing broader MEL advice and support to initiatives in the UNDP FACS portfolio (e.g., on learning-focused approaches to monitoring and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative methods for outcome monitoring, and the wider development of logical frameworks), including through needs assessment, diagnostics, and co-creation of targeted solutions; Encouraging sensemaking, learning and knowledge sharing on: Innovative, system-informed and/or participatory MEL approaches for portfolios and interventions working with FACS, including through managing a resolute community of practice, facilitating learning sessions, and compiling/developing and publishing emerging knowledge and insights; How food and agricultural commodity systems change, and how development interventions can support a positive transformation, including through preparing and facilitating reviews at portfolio and initiative/project level. Gathering, processing, and sharing with relevant (internal and external) stakeholders the latest information on progress, achievements, risks, and challenges at portfolio level (this includes information on how gender mainstreaming and social and environmental safeguards are being addressed at all relevant levels), including to support decision-making, learning and communications at the portfolio level, and comply with corporate and other reporting requirements.

To strengthen its services to FACS portfolios and initiatives/projects, the UNDP FACS MEL team is recruiting an Information Management Associate. 3. Scope of Work Working closely with the FACS ME&L Analyst, the Information Management Associate is expected to support the UNDP FACS MEL team on information management across all areas mentioned above, with a particular focus on area iv) and the following tasks: Support the FACS global team and country teams in developing tools for data collection, support preparation of needs assessment and diagnostics, as required, as well as develop and administrate surveys. Support data gathering exercises at the portfolio level as needed and ensure data quality and initiate analysis.

Develop dashboards and other tools to visualize information at portfolio and initiative-level and ensure integration with data collection tools and mechanisms. Ensure all MEL-related information is stored and uploaded to relevant portals. Identify appropriate secondary data and information resources, as needed. Develop draft reports and presentations.

Engage in relevant training and learning events and participate in team meetings as needed. 4. Institutional Arrangement The Information Management Associate will be part of the UNDP FACS MEL team and report to the MEL Analyst. 5.
