Director of Networks

**PRIMARY PURPOSE**:To manage Careworks' contracting activities for PPO and ancillary networks.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversees the contracting teams for PPO and ancillary networks by developing goals and monitoring performance.
- Oversees network outcomes, including areas such as savings, penetration, and lead identification.
- Leads evaluation and coordination of alternative providers to better meet client and Careworks' needs.
- Negotiates provider pricing for network products.
- Manages training and communication in conjunction with Sedgwick University to ensure colleagues are well versed on the use of Managed Care Products.

**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
- Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education & Licensing**
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.

**Experience**
Ten (10) years of related managed care industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
