Regional Customer Program Manager

The Client Program Manager (CPM) has the ownership of the operational strategy and translate the commitment to the customers in execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for implementing new and additional business with the customer. The CPM applies awareness of the customers supply chain to drive improvements and efficiencies creating value to the customer and Maersk.Key responsibilities: Understanding of the customers supply chain strategy and needs.Support the CPD within input to the joint strategic roadmapIdentify efficiency and optimisation initiatives to increase profitability /reduce cost to serve.Digital transformation / new system implementation. Create a Maersk community around the account and create awareness of the customer.Uncover customer pain points / supply chain challenges and define initiatives to address/eliminate same.Monitor service delivery performance within scope assigned (geographical/ products) and provide oversight to CPD.
Resolve operational escalations. Engage with 3rd Party / Non-Maersk partners (customer suppliers, partners, service providers and vendors) Ensure foundation in place to deliver (eg. SOPs / Origin Workshops etc.) Support new/additional business is implemented (incl EDI etc.) Ensure FINSOP and relevant financial measures are effectively managed. Ensure access to correct, rates, information, and contacts on all third party (non-Maersk) supplier and partners.We are looking for: At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.Background in logistics and FMCG and Lifestyle verticals is a plus.Project Management and training skills.Continuous Improvement techniques and metric driven.Ability to organize and facilitate origin / vendor / customer workshops.Supply chain optimization knowledge.Maersk operational structure and functionality (systems, products).Seniority to discuss with stakeholders at regional and global level.Great Communication skills.Project management or process driven mindset.Relationship person / connector.Fast learnerYou have been reading so far, were glad to see you are interested.
