Your role at Tumi: Financial Analyst Overall responsibilities include monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, and ad hoc business analyses.Execute monthly close procedures and produce financial data necessary for areas of responsibility.Develop monthly Senior Management financial reporting packages inclusive of variance analyses.Analyze budget to actual variances and provide forecast insight.Assist with the annual budget process including consolidation and analysis.Streamline existing processes and procedures.Create value added services to other functional areas by understanding their needs.Assist in the strategic long range planning process.Participate in SAP and Hyperion projects as needed.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the FP&A business function to help drive value across all channels of the Tumi business. Primary responsibilities will include supporting and producing deliverables for both senior management and Corporate FP&A partners. This person will assist in the preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts while maintaining various analyses and reports with Senior Management exposure. This person will also act as a liaison to multiple functional areas and support other corporate departments as needed.
**We're excited if you have**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.2+ years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis in a Retail environment preferred.Advanced Microsoft Office user, specifically Microsoft Excel. SAP or similar enterprise software knowledge preferred.Strong interpersonal, analytical, and critical reasoning skills are required.
