The IT Support Manager is responsible for all daily operations support, management, and maintenance activities of all tech infrastructure within FexPro’s offices and warehouse. This person is responsible for collaborating with vendors, managing projects, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This person will work closely with Fanatics IT resources in the US.
This individual is also responsible for supporting and assisting in the future integration of FexPro into the broader Fanatics technology ecosystem.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the IT function with a continuous focus on best-in-class customer service and delivery
- Assess systems performance and operational requirements
- Work with stakeholders including business management and production floor associates to understand technical requirements
- Procure hardware, software, and licensing, as applicable
- Provides end user training on new products and features as necessary
- Manage Tech budgets
- Trains and develops new and existing staff
- Effective communicator - keeps business up to date on scheduled changes and risks to operations teams
- Provide technical support, operations and problem resolution as required, including 24X7 on-call support.
- Provide engineering support and technical expertise regarding integrating new and existing systems management technologies into enterprise IT systems design and architecture
- Develop and implement best practices for configuration and automation processes in the context of both physical and virtual server computing environment
- Maintains site inventory tracking and lifecycle management of all equipment
- Maintain confidential data and information
- Analyze problems; identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions
- Infrequent travel to remote locations
**Qualifications**
- College degree preferred, plus 3-4+ years related work experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Proven experience managing IT project initiatives.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and execute system changes
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
- Ability to use discretion and confidentiality with access to sensitive data.
- Ability to lift computer equipment, including monitors and printers, which may weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with troubleshooting Printers (both network and stand alones)
- Experience with creation/management of Ghost images and other rapid deployment technologies is a plus
- Experience managing virtual file, print, and terminal servers.
- Experience managing client computing environments of mixed PC’s, network printers, thin client, and mobile devices
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved and ability to respond to last minute requests
- Responsible for all aspects of end-user PC provisioning including setup of hardware, software and peripherals
- Experience with handheld scanners, label printers, and other ruggedized equipment a plus
- Diagnoses and resolves end-user network, VPN, WI-FI and local-area network access problems
- Assists in creating documentation for self-service end-user support knowledge base
Helps install local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, and switches.
