Director Retail Operations
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- To provide LAM Retail Organization in countries with the right operations guidelines according to Global Retail Center of Excellence and monitor execution to ensure consistency, identify best practices and gather feedback. Develop and implement business and consumer focused initiatives that support and inspire the whole retail operations organization to achieve set targets.- Key Responsibilities:

- Lead by example on the development of a trading and service culture within the retail back office (RBO) and influencing the country retail team accordingly to achieve business plan goals and budgeted objectives.
- Manage motivating and inspiring the Market field and retail back office (RBO) teams to meet or exceed commercial goals and KPI’s and build Brand equity to increase efficiency in operational and Brand excellence.
- Drive implementing and ensuring compliance with agreed Global Retail CoE processes and standards for field and RBO operations to meet company objectives for operational excellence.
- Generate and execute local retail relevant and specific processes in close cooperation with the Global Retail CoE to drive consistency at Global level and provide feedback.
- Manage Inspirationally lead retail stores to a world class position by focusing on the 5 P’s: People, Product, Premises, Processes, and profit to ensure alignment of internal priorities and resources are allocated appropriately to achieve desired results.
- Developing and executing local retail relevant and specific processes in close cooperation with the Global Retail CoE to support countries on their needs.
- Ensure a leading shopping experience and continuously maximise profitability from the store portfolio, in conjunction with key stakeholders, including the Retail Senior Director and the Global Retail CoE
- Influence, coach and develop Store Operations and District Managers to ensure high quality Multi-Store Management performance and to build a talent pool for higher Operations roles to build the best team.
- Create Ensure a leading shopping experience and continuously maximize profitability from the store portfolio, in conjunction with key stakeholders, including the Retail Director LAM, Other Regional FLM and the Global Retail CoE to ensure consumers understand and receive the full Brand experience in the own retail stores.
- Manage Optimization of current operation overhead expenditure to ensure company delivers expected results.
- Align Make recommendations to the Retail Director on commercial opportunities at Market level by analyzing retail KPI’s and country retail trends and needs to ensure their department initiatives are aligned with business and marketing objectives.
- Maintain adhere to Global standards for all retail marketing, visual merchandising, and other store related activities, and monitor/evaluate established processes to guarantee stores’ full to increase efficiency in operational and Brand excellence.

- Country retail teams
- Global retail and digital sales solutions
- Region HR, TA, and sales academy teams
- Region B&T, Omnichannel and store development teams
- Region and country finance, tech & SCM teams
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

- Broad & deep knowledge of retail operations, combining with broad knowledge of other retail functional areas.
- Possess a strong set of skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience.
- Excellent communication skills, influencing and negotiating and change management.
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

- 10 years experience, preferably with retail and retail operations
- As manager of Experts 4 years management experience required.
- As manager of Admin / Tech Support minimum of 5 years management experience required.
