Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including financial institutions, merchants and other players. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing and operational capabilities, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The Panama Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers and other players in the market. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.

The VCA team is looking for an Analyst to join our Visa Managed Services practice and play a role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in Panama. The potential candidate will be responsible for executing project related activities that drive our partners results. This person will support the development of initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Potential engagements could include the setup and execution of initiatives generally derived from consulting engagements, which include structuring a detailed action plan, building a project governance model, monitoring the execution and activities and giving client stakeholders visibility on progress and improvement opportunities.

Essential functions include:

Program Management and Execution :Support the development of project plans reflecting the tasks, responsible and calendarsCoordinate all the areas and stakeholders involved in the projects (both internal and internal)Support project delivery efforts ensuring it meets the expected business and project results and calendarsComply with the internal administrative requirements of a project management practice Performance Management & Reporting: Track and measure program KPI’s. Analyze results, provide insights and foster a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement. Collaboration : Serve as liaison with functional teams ensuring consistency and collaborative working environment throughout Visa’s local, regional and global groups. Business Analysis : structure information in the most optimal way to perform analysis to summarize business cases, project results, and commercial initiatives. Client Facing :Maintain and strengthen the relationship with the clientsIdentify and inform opportunities.

Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, autonomous, highly energized and detail-oriented individuals. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization. This position requires incumbents to travel for work at least 10% of the time.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree in financial services, payments, consulting and similar Capacity to manage multiple projects at the same time. Language skills: Spanish and English
