Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Provide financial planning and analysis for Brands adidas in LAM to support the long-term strategy as well as short term business cases and tactical decisions ensuring profitable business and sustainable growth. Be the finance business partner for the Brands VPs in LAM and support and guide country´s FP&A team in relation to brands planning and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and execution of annual budget process and periodical forecasting process giving guidance, clear assumptions and methodology to the countries for adidas to provide a comprehensive LAM plan to stakeholders within global and regional timelines and standards.
• Generate monthly LAM business review with detailed explanation and analysis of country / brand evolution - Deep understanding of country´s actual numbers, development and KPIs evolution to provide insights and transparency to the FP&A Director LAM, SLT and Global.
• Owns month end closing process and other formal submissions in time and in full for the brands/countries to comply with global timelines and requirements and ensure complete and accurate information.
• Align and partner with brands and BUs at LAM level to support them in the design of the strategy providing financial support and knowledge of the business and ensuring that the countries´ plans are aligned with the investment strategy.
• Owns direct communication with global regarding to LAM financial development and plans for the Brands to provide full visibility of Lam as a whole market in alignment with the countries and functional heads.
• Drive standardization of processes and reports through LAM in alignment with global to ensure one version of the truth, comply with global policies (GFM), IFRS and processes and identify opportunities of improvement.
• Generate recommendations and provide options to business partners on respective level for strategic invest /divest approach / Constantly challenges and drives growth and profitability to promote constant focus on efficiency, cost savings and brand investment business opportunities.
• Align, prepare, control, report and coordinate MWB for HQ and coordinate MWB planning for the entire region / Follow up to budget execution across LAM to ensure MWB plan and execution is compliant with global and regional standards and requirements.
• Lead or participate in discussions, projects and analysis looking for business opportunities to improve CTB and financial KPIs.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• 7 years as manager of experts
• 0 – 2 years management experience required as manager of Admin / Tech Support minimum of 3 years management experience required
