- ** Your Role **:The person in this position will be responsible for developing the sea freight business through cooperation and support of commercial and operational teams. - ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Quote, develop and implement logistics strategies.
- Management and development of the route, building and maintaining relationships with business partners in Europe and North America.
- Cooperation with all levels of the organization on key perspectives within individual lines.
- Development and implementation of a strategy enabling the achievement of agreed growth targets for designated routes.
- Conducting visits to clients and supporting them by providing knowledge and market experience.
- Participation in negotiations with subcontractors carrying out orders for Kuehne+Nagel.
- Gathering and distributing relevant market information to key stakeholders within ocean freight operations and sales organization.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching and training as needed.
- Overseeing and managing of change management processes within the business to shape the future of the trade.
- Conduct business sustainably in order to contribute to Kuehne+Nagel’s Net Zero Carbon initiative.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to freight logistics, including customs regulations, import/export requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in operations, and implement necessary changes.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- International Business or similar university degree.
- Sea Logistics experience.
- Advanced English skills.
