Description Who we areOur Mission is to inspire authentic and meaningful connections.Selina was born out of a desire to celebrate the nomadic lifestyle: to experience our planets most beautiful places, to build community, to engage with locals and fellow travelers, to work and enjoy new adventures.What the role isThis role is in charge of supervising all the maintenance procedures to collaborate with all the housekeeping and reception.What you will be doingOrganize staff scheduleCreate and follow up all Maintenance proceduresIdentify facilities issues and improvement opportunities and make an action planInventory and stock of maintenance materials and place new orders when neededManaging relations with contractors and providers of services and materialsReport to Rooms Manager and Location ManagerMaintenance processesLocates and corrects in-room heating, ventilation, and air conditioning malfunctionsGeneral knowledge of procedures for repairing and/or replacing all types of plumbing equipment.Makes systematic checks on all room electrical appliances, circuits; being able to repair most in-room defaults.Handles all in-house repairs with regard to removing and replacing bathroom tile, painting, repairing wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc.Utilizes basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance.Completes preventative maintenance checklist and other maintenance records according to the Operation Manager requestMaintains tools, workspaces, equipment, property exterior and grounds to assure cleanliness.Familiar with all major shut off stations, including water and electric with fire alarm stations.Maintains security for guests and property by ensuring that room doors are locked at all times, keys are controlled, lost and found articles are properly logged and securely stored, reports suspicious activity by guest or others and observes all security and safety regulations.Collaborate with housekeeping and reception to perform small maintenanceMonitor budget: expenses for each serviceEnsure that health and safety policies and being followed by workersSuggest improvements for the department and create projectsWhat you need for the role5+ years of experience with maintenanceExperience in planning of maintenance operationsTeam managementKnowledge in plumbing, carpentry, electricity and paintingKnowledge in kitchen complex equipment maintenance is a plusWhat can you expectPet-friendly (as long as your pet is friendly) Multiple online training opportunities Cultural events and wellness activities at Locations.
