Position OverviewThe Lead is responsible for partnering directly with Regional NA Talent Leadership Team to provide recruitment support primarily for Point-of-Sale and Field positions across ELC’s portfolio of brands, in alignment with ELC’s vision of becoming the “best home for talent”.
25% Strategy development & Execution - Maintains awareness of industry news, activity and trends impacting talent sourcing and hiring dynamics. Reviews internal/external best practices, consults relevant literature in the recruiting space, and solicits input from HR partners and/or business leaders to help shape/inform recruitment strategies. Helps to inform and educate colleagues appropriately. Supports interview requests from senior management, working with the ED of Org Effectiveness based out of US to provide timely follow-up and help manage key stakeholders and expectations effectively.
Ensures that all relevant applicant information is entered in the Applicant Tracking System, and that decisions are made and communicated in a timely manner. Helps to develop/strengthen talent acquisition processes, policies and programs, and to monitor their use, adoption and effectiveness. 25% Continuous Improvement & Metrics Analysis - Overall direction is primarily set by ED of Org Effectiveness, NA and Regional NA Talent Leader Team (POS, Field, and Leadership). However, the Talent Sourcing Lead is expected to seize on opportunities to offer identify and define appropriate mitigation plans to drive ongoing continuous improvement.
Partners with the ED of Org Effectiveness and the TA Leadership team to align on key recruiting and sourcing metrics that should be tracked across both the US and Panama-based teams to ensure alignment of the overall vision and strategy for the region. The Talent Sourcing Team Lead will also be accountable for tracking the identified metrics locally for the Panama based team and leveraging the analysis of that data to drive / set the continuous improvement agenda (in partnership with the ED, Org Effectiveness and the NA Talent Leadership Team). 0% Budget Responsibility: No budget responsibility, although excellent judgment is expected when suggesting spending decisions. Qualifications Minimum 5-10 years of recruitment experience in retail or marketing space, ideally in beauty, luxury retail or consumer packaged goods, required.
Deep knowledge of best practice sourcing and recruiting approaches and strategies, including social media recruiting Deep talent acquisition and sourcing expertise, and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and facilitation skills, solid project management capabilities, and results orientation are all preferred qualifications for this role. Internal consulting skills, with demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, champion, and influence change, are also preferred. Ability to translate business/function needs into strong, locally relevant talent strategy with an execution mindset.
Desired Qualifications Subject matter expertise in sourcing and recruiting talent, including but not limited to LinkedIn/Internet/Boolean Search. Experience designing and implementing a social recruiting strategy to support recruiting and sourcing efforts in challenging markets.
