Title and Summary

Director, Business Development
- This position will play a key role in helping Mastercard grow the business with all fintech players that could include issuing, processing, retail, stores, small and medium business, T&E, digital business amongst others..

Main accountabilities:

- Analyze the market to identify priorities for the Fintech segment.
- Identify market opportunities and drive product strategy, roadmap, and features.
- Interact with functional areas to identify solutions and opportunities for Fintechs
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining new processes for both new and existing payment methods in Fintechs and other digital players
- Manage the multiple project tracks and lead the overall program. Provide status updates, identify risk, drive issue resolution, and take ownership to create success
- Develop the strategy for those opportunities identified in Panama and other countries.

About you:

- Bachelor's degree required (MBA Preferable)
- Work experience in business development and/or planning organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent knowledge (both written and spoken) in English.
- Digital knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with many departments and levels of management
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Keen analytical and proven problem-solving skills; strong strategic and conceptual aptitude.

- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on ambiguous environments.
- Entrepreneurial skills.
- Preferred experience in digital payments and fintechs
