Take an active role as a Collections Specialists responsible for the collections process with a defined group of customers and key accounts by maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, internal finance leadership, and cross-functional business partners.

**You are responsible for**
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
- Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
- Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
- Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
- Manages a larger portfolio in size and more complex account base
- Possibility of being in a team lead role
- Ensure directives are followed and exceptional actions taken as a result to remediate a mistake remain an exception and escalated if necessary

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following**
- Preferred Bachelor Degree
- 2 years of related experience in the sphere, preferably in a shared service environment
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with a multimillion dollar portfolio.
- Experience in working with collection software a plus, not required.
Knowledge or experience working with Excel specifically (Vlook up and pivot tables)
- Understanding of PCI (payment card industry) Sox compliance (internal control standards) in a collections environment preferred.
- Experience within the healthcare or medical manufacturing industry is beneficial.
