Job Title: Marketing and PR Manager

At Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and PR Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing the hotel's marketing plan, ensuring that our brand standards are consistently met in all written forms of communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the hotel's marketing plan, working closely with various departments to promote our activities and promotions.
  • Manage the hotel's marketing budget to achieve the best return on investment.
  • Oversee the management of our social media channels, ensuring they are engaging and relevant to our audience.
  • Ensure that all written communication, including guestroom collateral, outlet collateral, and public area brochure racks, adheres to our hotel and brand standards.
  • Design, coordinate, and print all guest-facing signage, including guestroom TVs, pre-arrival communications, and digital displays.
  • Create specific strategies for each distribution channel.
  • Maintain our website content up-to-date in all languages.
  • Run and optimize metasearch campaigns.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing them against our goals.
  • Prepare and execute media buys for digital and print, working with key partners and suppliers.
  • Plan and oversee all hotel and corporate email marketing.
  • Produce copy aligned with our brand voice and tone for digital ads, websites, OTAs, print advertising, and internal advertising materials.
  • Assist with hotel events and seasonal activities to maximize social media and content generation opportunities.
  • Coordinate and supervise all activities related to advertising in the filming of films, photo shoots, and interviews with local and foreign media.
Requirements:
  • Experience in hotel marketing, preferably in the luxury segment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or hotel management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience creating and analyzing SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns.
  • Experience managing social media networks.
  • Understanding of email campaign and database management.
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Photography experience is an asset.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to be flexible.
  • Organized and able to work well under pressure.
  • A team player with proven leadership ability and a positive attitude.
