JOB PURPOSEResponsible for ensuring all process and records, accounts reconciliation and filings of the payroll. Maintain the complete accuracy and compliance of the policies and procedures of the group. Preserve the control procedures and opportunities to ensure the fulfillment of the school budget. Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and cash management.

To guarantee the appropriate communication with co-workers and internal clients.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the appropriate reception of payroll documents and filter the necessary and required approvals Generate overtime reports to be shared with the responsible of each section Oversee initial analysis of the payroll to be processed Run the process of payroll Review, analysis, and comparison of the payroll Generate and review the necessary reports for the authorization Upload the file of ACH and generate the necessary checks Provide the supports for approval Ensure the cash management and availability of funds in the bank account of payroll Prepare the announcement and send it to the employees with the respective paystub Analysis of reserves and GL accounts reconciliations Generate the SIPE invoice and the respective payment with the reconciliation Establish the necessary process and controls required to improve the payroll management Cost Center analysisPERSON SPECIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferable Bilingual also preferable but no less than 75% English skills both verbally and written Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in payroll and accounting.Skills and Competencies: Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures. Knowledge of accounting principles. Knowledge of financial reporting concepts and preferred business practices.

Skill in effective verbal and written communication. Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial records. Skill in processing large volumes of numerical data. Skill in classifying fiscal data and compiling division reports.

Skill in designing spreadsheets and utilizing word processing and database software. Skill in analyzing, preparing, checking, and balancing routine fiscal transactions and accounts. Ability to resolve problems or situations requiring the exercise of good judgment. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other team members, internal and external clients.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.Knowledge of the local labor code and laws related.
