Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
- Compute employee wages and deductions, including union dues, insurance, and 401k contributions.
- Provide information to employees and managers/supervisors on payroll matters, tax issues, and benefit plans.
- Complete batch adjustments to payroll and adjust basic settings in the time clock system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
