Job Purpose:


The Business Operations Lead will provide critical support to ISD by assisting in the design, implementation, and administration of policies across various functional areas such as HR, procurement, travel, and legal management.

This role plays an integral part in ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, participating in process improvement initiatives, supporting project management activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This position is designed to act as a linchpin between ISD and the divisions, where the divisions are the clients, and the Bus Ops lead is committed to ensuring that the work aligns seamlessly the division's expectations.

The role has dotted lines with the division directors to underscore the importance of the relationship, emphasizing direct communication channels that ensure our operations are finely tuned to the divisions' strategic objectives.

This collaborative approach ensures that the tasks and priorities are set in alignment with both NHQ and divisional goals.

Education:

1) Bachelor in Relevant Field (required) 2) Master's degree in Relevant Field (preferred)

Experience:

1) Minimum 2 years of experience conducting business operations duties (HR, logistics, admin, security) (required) 2) Experience in project management, process improvement or process compliance (quality audits) (preferred) 3) Experience managing geographically distributed operations (multiple cities within one country or multiple countries) (preferred) 4) Experience working with IFRC and/or other Red Cross Movement entity (preferred) 5) Minimum 3 years of experience of working for a humanitarian aid organization (required) 6) Minimum 1 year of experience training or coaching (preferred) 7) Minimum 1 year of experience working in emergencies situations (required)
