We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient and timely payment of bills. This position involves providing essential administrative and clerical support, which includes processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for monitoring expenses and meticulously tracking significant bills such as Utilities for effective control purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Process and Replenishment of Petty Cash for each facility.
  • Verify vendor accounts, process invoices, and follow up for payments.
  • Process Check Requests, Refunds, and Expense Reports.
  • Perform record keeping and prepare Utilities and Ancillary reports.
  • Enter all the invoices and bills in the system.
  • Contact vendors to get statements or missing invoices, payment arrangements, etc.
  • Code all the invoices and Ancillaries to get them in the system.
  • Monthly (closing season), make sure to enter all the invoices of the month for each vendor/Facility in the system before the close date.
Requirements

  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong attention to detail
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced setting, and ability to work under pressure
  • Sense of urgency
  • Work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
