The Business Development Analyst will focus on analyzing and developing utility-scale solar, wind and storage opportunities across Mexico & Central America. You will devise competitor market intelligence reports and perform DD for potential utility-scale solar, wind & energy storage projects and portfolios acquisitions.Main Responsibilites: Support on development of greenfield solar, wind and energy storage projectsConduct market research and intelligence reportsPreparation of strategy deck´s, projects presentations, pipeline tracking and support to management team in any needs on presentations and informatiosCoordinate closely with and develop alongside BD leadership teamCoordinate and drive regional M&A opportunities for the businessDrive and coordinate key aspects of day-to-day management of the region on behalf of the regional leadership teamSupport senior team members, and own key aspects of, regional strategy development and management.

**Examples include**: analysis of existing project pipeline and proposed replenishment strategy to meet the group’s long-term ambitionsWork cross functionally to drive high-priority strategic initiatives in a variety of fields (e.g. Strategy, IT, Finance, EPC) to facilitate the expansion of the businessIdentify gaps in our existing ways of working, and work with all relevant teams to outline and implement improved processes and toolsSupport and drive the management of regional M&A transactionsSupport preparation for Board and Senior Management engagement and wider business engagement, including developing clear and concise presentations with limited guidanceSupport on contract negotiations; NDA’s, LOI’s, EPC’s, Purchase Agreements, etc.You will have the opportunity to obtain a deep commercial and financial understanding of solar, wind and BESS development, gain valuable insight into decision making and management of a high-growth renewables business, alongside significant exposure to senior leadership and stakeholders.Knowledge/ Experience;BA or equivalent required; a degree in engineering or the sciences would be advantageous; Masters preferredBackground in management consulting / investment banking / energy / renewables energy industry preferredStrong interest in solar PV, Wind, BESS and the energy transitionUnderstanding of renewable energy project fundamentals, including project development, business development, etc.Understanding of energy market structuresExperience creating collateral and materials to support board or investment committee approval processPassionate about the energy industry and other technologiesExcellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and WordUpper Intermediate level on English is requiredGeneral Skills/Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the entire companyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project management skills and the ability to work on several workstreams in parallel, appropriately managing stakeholders and prioritiesAbility to problem solve and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated strong analytical and decision-making skills with a high attention to detailFlexible and “can do” attitude
