**Job Purpose**:The individual is responsible for establishing, maintaining and managing optimal S&OP processes in close collaboration with local internal and external counterparts securing optimal demand and supply balancing while respecting all markets specifications. Responsibility to include developing and implementing monthly forecast, through demand analysis and collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams. Also, responsibility to include achieving operational excellence by monitoring optimal inventory levels of Panama RDC, ensuring optimized product availability of all active items supporting Alcon local business strategies, objectives and customer satisfaction targets.

**Demand Planning**:

- To ensure alignment with Region and Global S&OP process by establishing and maintaining an effective, documented, and sustainable S&OP process locally.
- To own and lead the collaborative process with the cross functional local teams in all activities surrounding forecast review and submission (forecast analysis reports, validation against in markets activities and sales projections and on-time monthly submission)
- To lead Monthly Demand Review meetings with local Commercial Teams.
- To lead Executive S&OP review with Country Management Team.
- To acquire, analyze and challenge information regarding historical data, market trends, promotional activity and other events, historical or current, which impact customer demand.
- To generate 24 months rolling sales forecasts for assigned products through demand analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- To analyze, report and improve forecast accuracy both at the detail and aggregate level to improve Customer Service and ensure optimal inventory levels (availability & cost)
- To provide insights, challenge assumptions and identify drivers of variances in the monthly forecast.
- To conduct S&OP and Financial forecasts reconciliation exercise
- To liaise with Regulatory and Business team on new product launches and update sales forecast accordingly.
- To create, maintain and distribute all supply chain related KPI’s and analysis.
- To track local KPIs providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

**Inventory Management**:

- To monitor the overall replenishment planning as per PUSH model in place in close collaboration with Central Planning Team.
- To manage the inventory in Panama RDC aiming for optimized product availability, preventing stock shortages as well as excess stock.
- Responsible to track & reach resolutions on products with supply issues whilst keeping all key stakeholders informed of supply interruptions.
- To proactively follow up global, regional or local supply issues, coordinating and escalating them to the Management to ensure timely resolution and proper communication with all stakeholders.
- To develop, implement and sustain a robust collaboration process with all supply points, ensuring timely supply to markets, therefore optimizing product availability to customers and patients across the Region.
- To ensure good demand and supply balancing, providing updates on the identified gaps, defining and suggesting mitigation plans to all key stakeholders to endorse and support as required.

**Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement process**:

- To support and spearhead key projects/strategies to help the demand and supply management achieve operational excellence.
- To support implementation of any identified Demand and Supply Planning management tool and/or process.

**Collaboration**:

- To champion overall S&OP process for the Region and manage team members accordingly.
- Sharing experience/best practices with peers to enhance skills and competencies across the Region.
- To ensure business continuity and robust back up plans are in place across Business lines.

**Requirements**:
3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Pharmaceutical or Medical devices experience is preferred.

Fluent English is required.
