Senior Manager Controller SCM
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- The purpose of the Performance Management role is to support financial planning & forecasting of SCM to guarantee the quality of the information and transparency across LAM by fostering a results-oriented and data-driven culture.- The objective of the role is to identify opportunities through the analysis of various KPIs and implement different set of tools/reports/dashboards to ultimately increase efficiency, grow visibility, and support SCM to become a digital area.- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operating rhythm for Financial KPIs for SCM LAM.
- Continuously monitor the performance of Supply Chain KPIs against targets - identify deviations and work with the stakeholders necessary to drive the improvement.
- Create a set of reports/dashboards for management to develop one common understanding of the numbers and KPIs across LAM and reduce workload for the countries.
- Manage projects related to Financial SCM KPI development/improvement.
- Follow up on the countries’ SPOCs to deliver the monthly reports to Global and Region on time and with quality.
- Prepare and revise regional SCM ( L1, L0 and E2E) forecasting and budgeting together with countries controllers.
- Prepare recommendations and alternatives based on analysis of the business to standardize or make processes more efficient and/or reduce costs.
- Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analytics to support ongoing projects.
- Continually challenge the status quo, think differently, and push boundaries.
- Generate meeting and summary dashboards to increase market productivity.
- Ensure the creation and constant improvement of tools for KPIs tracking and analysis
- Drive gap analysis in current KPIs to challenge the status quo and ensure targets are met.
- Maintain close communication with the countries to understand their actual development and how it relates to their Financial SCM KPIs and provide visibility to top management.
- Ensures full alignment with Global SCCT to ensure clear communication between the market and Global.
- Connect with LAM Data Analytics counterparts to solve the different analytics problems and provide solutions to the business.
- Key Relationships:
- Regional LAM SCM and SCM FLM
- SCM Functional areas: Purchasing, Order Fulfillment, Warehouse, SCM development
- Finance Directors and FP&A Leads on countries
- Global Finance SCM Stakeholders
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis to interact and navigate through different Financial, business and SCM information across LAM countries.
- Financial Business Acumen and understanding of business variables (Volume, CPU, Handling costs, transportation etc)
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and proficient management of Excel.
- Experience in SCM KPI performance management with clear expertise in analyzing dense operational databases.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to think tactically and influence the organization.
- Ability to present technical & financial results in a strong manner with clear action steps.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and drive change within varied cultures and viewpoints.
- Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills with the ability to support assumptions of final analysis, share ideas, and influence.
- Curious, energetic personality, eager to think out of the box and explore off-beaten tracks, with a passion for innovation.
- Self-initiated and proactive mindset
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
