Duties and Responsibilities Tasks / Expected OutcomesUnder the direct supervision of the Regional Gender Team Leader the intern will support the regional team coordinating the implementation of the Gender Equality Seal in Public Institutions: Knowledge Management and communication: - Support the systematization of information on internal pages such as Intranet. Contribute to the development, review, and publication of knowledge products in close coordination with the Regional Hub teams. - Systematization of infographic and photographic products to be used for communications purposes.Technological and statistical Support: - Participate in inductions to the online tool conducted by the Regional Hub. Attention to queries from users of the Seal's online platform and the Gender Virtual School. - Update tracking/follow-up systems to monitor the progress and results of the program's regional rollout, including collecting data and statistical analysis, visualizing data - Support activities such as online workshops and webinars to provide pragmatic guidance and capacity building opportunities and tools to design and implement gender-responsive policies and initiatives. Supervision As part of the UNDP Intern will benefit from the following supervision modalities: - Structured guidance provided by the supervisor, especially at the beginning of the assignment. Establishment of a work plan, with clear key results. Effective supervision through knowledge sharing and performance/development feedback throughout the assignment. Easy access to the supervisor. Participation in Unit/Team/Office meetings to ensure integration and operational effectiveness. Guidance and advice in relation to learning and training opportunities within the field of expertise. Completion of Performance Review.

Required Skills and Experience Education, Experience, Language requirements Education: Be enrolled in the final academic year of a university degree programme (such as Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in social sciences, international relations, or related disciplines; a background in IT disciplines or a current IT training will be an asset.orBe enrolled in a graduate degree programme (such as a master's programme, or higher) in social sciences, international relations, or related disciplines; a background in IT disciplines or a current IT training will be an asset.or Have graduated with a university or graduate degree social sciences, international relations, or related disciplines; and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.orBe enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme and undertake the internship as part of this programme.Strong commitment to promoting gender equality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience: Experience in development and gender equality would be desirable. Experience with Moodle LMS is a plus.Language Requirements: Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Experience in any other UN language is a plus (especially French and/or Portuguese).
