Global Reefer Container Sales Manager

Has responsibility for the development and execution of the container sales strategy for specific geographic area and has full ownership of pricing. Key focus areas are developing a client management sales approach to achieve assigned targets, utilize knowledge of operations to strengthen approach with Equipment Teams for mutual efficiency and utilize digital skills to drive and promote change across the Container Sales Team.ResponsibilitiesCreate, articulate and drive the local strategies for different container sales segmentsLeverage understanding of the local business environment to support development of the sales strategyMaintain senior relationship with top accountsMake sales calls and actively steers towards sales successes.Ensure optimal activity management and account management to truly understand customers and their needsOversee forecasting and budgeting processes to align with business goalsDrive campaigns to generate a healthy pipeline and yieldDrive the business via the e-platformOwn and drive overall Reefer pricing strategy globally via analyticsActively maintain relationships with the equipment and operational teams and external parties on a global basisActively steer the relationship with the Customer Success TeamActively work with Flow and Equipment teams to steer inventory from low price/demand locations to high price/demand locationsEducate customers and the Container Sales team the characteristics of reefer container, benefits of its usage, etcCollaborate with EMR team on the global MRP process which has an important impact on reefer sales/pricing and customer satisfactionWork independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Contributes through professional knowledge and has impact on the results of their function. Has established network in internal peer group and participates in external peer network.
