Manager, Account Management

Overview

This Account Manager position is responsible for managing the relationship with one of the most relevant business partners for MasterCard in Latin America and the Caribbean with a current presence in more than 10 countries.
This position offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of the MasterCard relationship with different businesses, such as Credit, Debit Commercial portfolios, as well as new technology solutions and value-added services.
The position requires a self-motivated individual, commercially pragmatic, business developer, with strategic thinking and influencing skills to partner with the client & MasterCard cross functional teams to create and implement impactful payments programs that maximize segment penetration & drive MasterCard and client revenues.

Role
- Maintain primary responsibility for managing the relationship and profitability of the account.
- Design and execute strategic/tactical plans to enhance customer and MasterCard profitability.
- Develop strong working relationships with key influencers at client´s organization and with MasterCard support teams in the LAC Region.
- Work with MasterCard cross functional teams to identify new segment and product opportunities.
- Leverage all MasterCard brand sponsorship properties, product/services to deliver exceptional customer value.
- Perform market research and opportunity assessments on new concepts and ideas. Assess the viability of new products in support of market strategy.

Education Required:

- Bachelor's degree required (ideally engineering, Economics, Business). MBA preferred
- Languages: Spanish and English

Experience/Knowledge:

- Relevant experience in projects management in the financial industry, sales, marketing, portfolio management, pre-paid, debit card or credit card products development
