JOB PURPOSE:

This exciting role serves as a CISD Americas strategist and Divisional expert in sales execution strategy and ensuring strong go-to-market plans are in place to best support the CISD regional sales teams and dealers in achieving CISD Americas Services growth goals.

The incumbent is responsible for working with regional sales support and field sales teams to ensure Construction Industries has a solid understanding of market challenges, VOC/VOD and aligned commercial strategy to make a step change in growing Services.

This is a role for an experienced Caterpillar employee who has demonstrated the ability to simplify complex initiatives, identify performance gaps, and align multiple organizations into a clear plan to deliver aftermarket solutions that customers recognize are superior to any competitor.


JOB DUTIES:

The key role of this assignment is to provide linkages within the CISD Americas Sales Support Team and internal business partners to better enable sustainable double-digit year-over-year growth related to Rebuilds, Hydraulics, Wear products in Retail and Core accounts.

The incumbent is both an individual contributor and team leader who has a solid background in Aftermarket with strong communication skills, analytical skills, and commercial experience.

This position requires the incumbent to have effective communication and collaboration skills within CISD, DSD, PSLD and other internal business partners to ensure a clear understanding of business critical issues and aligned project management skills to address the issues.

This position requires a growth mindset and openness to diverse perspectives in order to best work with cross-regional team members to overcome challenges in the markets we serve.

The incumbent of this role will manage the Americas regional sales variance budget to drive profitable growth and accurate forecasting of spend, as well as the key milestones for GTM elements required for a successful annual business roll-out to field team and Dealers.

This position also provides significant leadership development opportunities with CISD Sales Support interns and pre-field ASR coaching and development.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors' Degree
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible jobrelated experience in the areas of Prime Product Sales, Aftermarket Sales or Technical Support, and/or Strategic Project Management
  • Ability to travel 30% of time and open international travel in Latin America
  • Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed analysis and prepare strategic plans
  • Demonstrated communication at all levels of partner organizations
  • Able to work effectively in large matrix organization and across geographical territories
  • Advanced knowledge of the Caterpillar organization, its products, policies and procedures
  • Experience with Aftermarket Insights tools, Sales Variance and Prioritized Service Events (PSE)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are a must in dealing with confidential information, sensitive issues and controversial situations
  • Must be highly adept at developing all types and seniorities of professionals
  • Creating behavioral changes in organizations
  • Motivating others inside and outside of Caterpillar to improve performance
